OUR COVID-19 POLICY

Book with confidence for your ski holiday with Snowy Hills
Our operating procedures we've put in place this season
When you stay with us at Chalet Chardon Bleu you can rest assured that we take your safety as our top priority. France currently has no restrictions in place in the Savoie region with regards to the maximum amount of people that can gather socially, however in public areas masks must be worn and a 1 metre distance must be adhered to where possible. As a result we will be wearing a face covering when serving in the chalet as well as driving you to the slopes and back. Current guidance suggests that masks will need to be worn in lift queues and on ski lifts therefore a face covering will be required as an essential item when staying with us. We thank you for your understanding. We don't ask you to wear this in the chalet.
We will have anti-bacterial hand gel at the entrance as well as in the dining area. We recommend washing hands as this is more effective. This is already a practice at Snowy Hills as we are preparing food etc so we are constantly washing our hands in between serving, clearing and preparing food.
If you are sharing the chalet with another group we will limit the number of people so that we can provide a distance around the dining table. Luckily our dining room/ table is huge so this is no problem. We also have separate lounge areas if you prefer to space out.
The hot tub is treated with Chlorine and therefore is safe to use. However we do ask that no more than 4 people use at any one time unless part of the same group. we recommend no longer than 15 mins as this can affect your health.
If you have any further questions or concerns then please get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Coronavirus booking terms and conditions
Our usual booking conditions apply (found on our prices and availability page) with the exception of Covid-19 deeming it impossible for us to operate or if borders are closed making it impossible to travel. In this instance we will offer a change of dates or credit note to use within 12 months. Please note we cannot refund the difference if the credit note is used against a cheaper week.
The balance is due 10 weeks before travel. If you fail to pay the balance due because you have a change of mind we reserve the right to cancel your booking and sell that week. In this scenario your deposit will not be refunded as per our normal booking conditions.
Where a refundable deposit has been offered on bookings before Sept 2020, this applies to Covid-19 deeming it impossible to travel or for us to operate. The balance will be issued as a credit. Any bookings after Sept 2020 do not benefit from a refundable deposit.
If we have to cancel your holiday for reasons within our control that do not include Covid-19 then a refund or change of dates will be offered.
If we have to cancel your stay due to Covid-19 then we will endeavour to offer a change of dates or credit note for the amount paid to be used within 12 months. We cannot be held liable for any losses incurred.
It is already a condition of booking that every guest has adequate travel insurance. In this instance this must include cover for Coronavirus including medical costs, quarantine expenses and repatriation costs as well as any other losses due to travel disruption or contracting Covid-19 whilst on holiday.
You must not travel if you have any symptoms and we reserve the right to refuse you if you turn up at the chalet with symptoms. You must not travel and instead claim on your insurance. Axa are offering coronavirus cover as well as many other insurance companies. It is your responsibility to check your cover.
